Every artist on this platform has been individually selected by Galleria Objets. To join, you can submit an application — or be selected through one of our open calls.
What we are looking for
We are not looking for work that fits a brief. We are looking for work that arrives.
Painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textile, sound, video, digital, performance — and anything that does not yet have a name. No fixed theme: what we want to see is the work you are compelled to make, regardless of market or expectation.
Applications are open all year, from anywhere. There is no age, career stage or representation requirement.
How your application is read
Every work you send becomes a catalogue record — title, year, medium, dimensions, images — and is scored on its own by the gallery's curators, through the same system we use for our open calls. A work is read for itself, not for your biography or your following. Five works are five readings, not one.
What to prepare
About 20 minutesA statement
A hundred to three hundred words on your practice, in your own words. Not a CV — what the work is for, and where it is going.
Up to five works
From any period of your practice, not only the most recent. Each one needs a title, a year, a medium and its dimensions.
Images
Up to eight per work, at least 1,500 px on the longest edge, JPEG or PNG. Details, installation shots and studio views are welcome alongside the work itself.
A portfolio link
Optional. If you have a website or an Instagram that shows more, add it.
After you apply
7–10 working daysIf you are admitted, your profile joins the platform and the gallery is in touch about showing your work. Admission is a selection decision by Galleria Objets, and it is recorded as one.
If you are not, your account, your drafts and your images remain yours, and nothing you sent is made public. You are welcome to enter any open call.
