Social Media Policy

This policy covers data processed through our Instagram Business account integration. For our general privacy policy, see the Privacy Policy.

Overview

This Social Media Policy describes how Galleria Objets ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and stores data obtained via the Meta/Instagram Graph API in connection with the internal curator platform located at curate.galleriaobjets.com. This platform is a private, single-administrator internal tool operated solely by Galleria Objets, 92 Brick Lane, London E1 6RL.

Data Collected

When the gallery administrator connects the @galleriaobjets Instagram Business account, the following data is collected via the Instagram Graph API:

  • Instagram Business account profile information: username, display name, follower count, and account ID
  • Post content: captions, images, video thumbnails, and publish timestamps
  • Engagement metrics: likes, comments, reach, and impressions per post
  • OAuth access tokens required to authenticate with the Instagram Graph API

How We Use This Data

All data collected is used solely to publish content to the @galleriaobjets Instagram account and to retrieve insights and analytics from that account within the internal curator platform. This data is never sold, licensed, shared commercially, or used for advertising purposes.

Who Has Access

Only the gallery administrator has access to this platform and the Instagram data it retrieves. No other users, third parties, or employees are granted access to the collected data.

Storage & Security

Data is stored in Supabase (EU region — AWS EU West, Ireland) and is encrypted at rest and in transit. OAuth tokens are stored securely and are only transmitted over HTTPS. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect all stored data.

Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as the Instagram account remains connected to the platform. Upon disconnecting the Instagram account within the application, all stored tokens and associated account data are immediately and permanently deleted.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service this platform interacts with, in relation to Instagram data, is the Meta/Instagram Graph API. Data is accessed in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and Instagram's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights & Contact

If you have any questions about this Social Media Policy or wish to request deletion of any data, please contact us at contact@galleriaobjets.com. See our Data Deletion page for instructions on requesting deletion.
