An independent contemporary art gallery at 92 Brick Lane, in Shoreditch. We are small, which means anyone who works with us touches the whole of it — the artists, the shows, the space, and the software the gallery runs on.
People who can hold two things at once: a real eye for work, and the patience for the unglamorous half — the emails, the labels, the spreadsheet of who is owed what. Most of running a gallery is the second thing, and the people who are good at it are the ones who understand why it matters to the first.
We do not need a degree in art history and we are not impressed by one on its own. Tell us what you have actually done: a show you hung, a website you built, an artist you looked after, a room you found.
Speculative letters are read. Send a few paragraphs about what you would want to do here and anything you have made, to contact@galleriaobjets.com. One honest page beats a formatted CV — we would rather know how you think.
