A Cairn for the Future combines personal nostalgia with reimagined histories. This piece evokes ancient cultures, featuring a strange idol inhabiting an ambiguous rendered landscape. The form references funerary artefacts and vessels that carry long-forgotten memories. The sharp edges and airbrushed surfaces highlight the boundaries between the organic and the constructed, myth and technology, past and present.
