Jacopo Ginanneschi

My work explores reality starting from direct contact with it, through extensive study and sketches made without the use of photography. What interests me is deepening my perspective on things, understanding how I perceive light and colors. The preliminary work done with watercolors on paper is followed by studio work, where I create oil paintings on board or canvas. This is where I have the peace of mind to study the composition until I achieve a balance of forms that satisfies me.
