Louis O'Connor

Born and raised in County Wicklow, Ireland, now living and working in London. I paint a lot of horses. I feel that their stoic nature allows me to convey subtle ideas. We as a species have such a strong relationship with these animals, our histories are so deeply entwined. In painting them I find that I am painting us. What it means to be human, both the good and bad.
