Niki Tse (b.2001, Hong Kong) is an artist living and working in London. Exploring time, memory, and the ephemeral, her practice seeks the Thread that seemingly weave people, places, and things together. Niki's practice hopes to traverse the in-between, searching for ways to capture and make sense of a certain place and atmosphere through a practice primarily rooted in drawing, approaching her work with slow, ritual markmaking drawn from natural forms that hold a certain energy or dynamism. Lately, she has been drawn to remnants, trails, and traces, hoping to seek way for the presence of entities in her life to come into her work organically - for the traces they leave behind held and preserved.
