About This Platform
The Galleria Objets platform at curate.galleriaobjets.com is operated by Galleria Objets, 92 Brick Lane, London E1 6RL. It is both our public catalogue and the tool we run the gallery with.
People hold accounts here. Artists sign up to submit work to open calls, manage their own pages and pictures, and see their consignment agreements. Visitors can create an account to save works and to comment on them. Gallery staff use the same platform to run exhibitions, sales and the @galleriaobjets Instagram account.
What We Hold About You
If you have an account: your email address, the name you chose to display, and anything you added to your profile — a biography, a location, a picture, a link to your Instagram.
If you submitted work: the images and details you supplied, and any agreement you signed with us. If you commented: what you wrote, shown publicly under your display name. If you RSVP'd to an event: your name, email and party size. If you enquired about a work: your message and contact details.
Your email address is never shown to other members, and never appears on the public site.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of any data we hold, please email us at:
We will acknowledge your request and delete the data we hold about you within 30 days. Tell us if you want your comments removed as well as your account — we will not assume either way.
Two things we may keep, and why. Records of a sale or a signed consignment agreement are kept where we are required to for accounting and contractual reasons. Where you took part in something involving other people — a comment thread, a shared exhibition record — we may keep the entry with your name removed, rather than delete it and leave a gap in someone else's record.
Disconnect Instagram Directly
If you are the gallery administrator, you can disconnect the Instagram account directly within the app. Disconnecting immediately removes all stored OAuth tokens and associated Instagram account data — no data is retained after disconnection.
